Keena is a photographer and director who believes the best images happen when people forget the camera is there. Known for his contemporary eye and people-first approach, he’s drawn to real moments, natural energy, and the beauty of things unfolding exactly as they are.

On set, Keena's infectious enthusiasm ensures a fun and upbeat atmosphere, fostering a collaborative spirit that brings out the best in everyone involved.  And a custom playlist for every shoot, of course.

He believes the strongest images often come from the simplest moments, which is why he prioritizes building trust and experiencing the moment WITH his subjects, not just documenting them.

After getting sick of the snow in Boston, and then the lack of snow in San Francisco, he now spends his days off living in Cary, North Carolina with his wife, two kids (Madeline and Cashel), and his Doodles (Pippin and Barkley).  When he's not at home, he splits his time between NYC and LA.
